Connectivity modules for LAN networks with copper horizontal cables can be realised in e.g. keystone modules (KSM) or multiple copper cassette e.g. 6x RJ45 or as field termination connector (FTC) respectively inline coupler (ILC) to connect to connectors with each other. These modules are central elements in networks and therefore often certified by independent test labs. Their electrical and mechanical characteristics can be filtered easily by these attributes: category or class, AWG figure (American Wire Gauge, e.g. AWG23), PoE class (e.g. PoE++ 4PPoE), packing density (e.g. HD - high density) and the shielding type (e.g. STP).
The TKM RJ45 inline coupler, female/female is applicable for network links of the channel class EA (500 MHz) acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 Amendment 2 for 10 GBASE-T acc. to IEEE 802.3an.
The TKM keystone module type RJ-MOD shielded cat. 6A acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 amendment 2 is component rated tocategory 6A acc. to EN 60603-7-51. It is applicable in permanent link class EA (500 MHz) acc. to ISO/IEC 11801 amendment 2 for 10 GBASE-T acc. to IEEE 802.3an.
