The AIM system FUTURE-PATCH is part of a ultra modern DCIM solution for managing complex IT infrastructure. The physical status of all patch panel ports is monitored and managed in real time with this system. The intelligent patch cords - iPCs - are factory made and equipped with transponder and digital cable ID.
The intelligent patch cords can be read out fully automatically and they provide their digital cable ID directly out of the transponder to the PCU. In conclusion this means that their position in the network documentation is always available in real-time.
