IDC Connectivity (IDC)
Connectivity modules for LAN networks with copper horizontal cables in this product category are equipped with IDC blocks. The termination is usually done with an IDC punsh down tool. The recommended installation cables (horizontal cable) compatible to the IDC product are shown on the product card tab Link Products in the product description itself. Their electrical and mechanical characteristics can be filtered easily by these attributes: category or class, AWG figure (American Wire Gauge, e.g. AWG23), PoE class (e.g. PoE++ 4PPoE), packing density (e.g. HD - high density) and the shielding type (e.g. STP).
