A LAN network should be realised with high quality installation or horizontal cables. These cables are normally fixed installed for many years in the building and they are easy to filter with these electrical and mechanical attributes: category or class, AWG figure (American Wire Gauge, e.g. AWG23), CPR class (BauPVO, e.g. Dca), operational frequency (e.g. 1000MHz) and the cable structure (e.g. S/FTP) according to the shielding.
TKM horizontal cable of the type S/FTP 4x2xAWG22/1 is applicable for tertiary installation with network links of the class I acc. EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801.
