Copper Connectivity Modules (CCM)
Connectivity modules for LAN networks with copper horizontal cables can be realised in e.g. keystone modules (KSM) or as field termination connector (FTC). These modules are central elements in networks and therefore often certified by independent test labs. Their electrical and mechanical characteristics can be filtered easily by these attributes: category or class, AWG figure (American Wire Gauge, e.g. AWG23), PoE class (e.g. PoE++ 4PPoE), packing density (e.g. HD - high density) and the shielding type (e.g. STP).
